Start your journey with a Gap Analysis
Integrated management standard ISO 9001 14001 45001
A Gap Analysis ISO 45001 health safety enables you to determine where you are on your journey toward ISO 45001. For instance on of the Plan Do Check Act scale you can see what stage you have reached. Whether you have no structured OHSMS in place or you are late migrating from OHSAS 18001 (migration date closed 30 September 2021) every organization will need to begin with a Gap Analysis. For organizations that already demonstrate effective leadership, for example, those Senior Management Teams familiar with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards, you may already be well on your way toward meeting the requirements. So in organizations where occupational health and safety has been the sole responsibility of a health and safety individual, this standard will require significant changes to the involvement of top management.
Here below are the key stages for organizations aiming to become registered (certificated). However many will not wish to go so far and the great feature of ISO 45001 is that it is possible to self verify and use that status to demonstrate to clients, suppliers or the public that good governance is in place. Because the standard was designed for use by all organizations, large or small and capitalises on the move to digitalization, so hard copy documents to verify performance become a thing of the past.
